High School Football Players Kicked Off Team After Hiring Hookers At Team Hotel [High School Football]

High School Football Players Kicked Off Team After Hiring Hookers At Team HotelDeMatha Catholic High School in the suburbs of Washington, D.C., has an athletic program that counts Keith Bogans, Adrian Dantley, Danny Ferry, and Brian Westbrook among its alumni. But its nationally ranked football team will have to get by without five of its reserves, after they were booted from the program for reportedly bringing prostitutes to the team hotel.

According to the Washington Post, the incident happened in North Carolina, where DeMatha had traveled to beat Hillside, 52-14, in its season opener. After their 1:30 a.m. bed check and a 4 a.m. hallway check, the players hopped on the Internet and hired three prostitutes, and "some engaged in sexual activities with those prostitutes in a hotel room."

The players are all minors, so their names were not released. Two have already left DeMatha, two others are appealing a recommendation that they be expelled, and another has a disciplinary hearing scheduled for today. The Post does not report whether the Internet connection was included in the room rate or was an add-on.
