Michigan State University vet will go to trial on animal neglect charge

ST. JOHNS (WKZO) -- A veterinary professor at Michigan State University will go to trial on a felony charge of animal neglect.

Patricia Schenck faces up to four years in prison of convicted. ?She was arrested after Clinton County Sheriff's deputies found 17 dogs and two cats in bad shape at her home last month and was in court Wednesday to waive her preliminary exam.

A trial date has not been set.
